Nearly half the people living with HIV/AIDS in the world are women. Though there has been advance, the response to AIDS has been compromised.


Although there is now approximately six million people in treatment, the re-current financial crises has slashed the resources for social and human development in the world. And we all know very well that to overcome the AIDS pandemic and achieve the Millennium Development Goal #6, governments must fulfill the UNGASS-AIDS goals.
